Question: any body have the exact placement blueprint for the hood decal?

Specifically for the decals going above and below the hood blisters. I have the replacement decals and am about to have the hood repainted. The new decals don't provide the positioning diagram. I am almost done restoration.

I searched to find an existing thread to no avail.

Any help is appreciated

It might be worth getting a factory service model for 82, they are usually pretty good about showing things like this.

 

I'm not sure what a factory service model for 82,is?

Hopefully somebody has one of these cars...

 

why would someond advertise an 87 camaro with 82 pace car paint as true 82 whats the big deal?

 

A factory service manual is what the dealer would use for diagrams, part numbers, etc. They're not the same as a typical Chilton's or Haynes manual, they have way more information, including decal/trim diagrams. They can be had for reasonable prices on ebay:
