Hi there, I have a 1991 Firebird. I am looking for a reasonably priced front fender ground effect, driver's side only. This is the ground effect connecting the fender to below the front bumper. I've posted on several websites and contacted several sellers with no luck. I live in San Francisco, I would appreciate it if you could cut me a deal. Please respond ASAP, thanks for your time.

I can give you some ideas however.
1.buy a new one for $165
2.search forever for a good used one at a fair price.
3.contact FYRCHKN about his sheet metal design.
He has fab. and installed his own set and look very nice.

TIMMY's right. His 3 suggestions are just about the only options you'll have because, unfortunately, the part you're looking for won't be easy to find for a reasonable price.

New ones are expensive, but at least they're still available, unlike most GM thirdgen parts. You can probably find one at Hawk's: www.hawksthirdgenparts.com

For used parts, this site has a "Classified" message board where cars and parts are advertised for sale. So you might find one there for less money than a new one. The "Classified" board is on the main page of the message boards, all the way down near the bottom of the page.

As you learn your way around the site, you'll find a lot of great stuff, so have fun!

 

thanks guys. I actually did post on the classifieds but got no responses here or on f-bodyhideout.com. I just think its ridiculous to drop 150 on something like a little old ground effect. But you're right I may have no choice. I'll see what's up with FYRECHKN, if not then hawk's it is, i've bought stuff there before. If anyone else has what i'm looking for feel free to contact me.
