hatchback problems

I think my hatchback has been abused...people slamming it shut like a normal car truck is NOT good for it!! so I think the result of that type of abuse has caused it to start "rattling" as I'm driving down a road that's not completely smooth. it also leaks, but has been since I got the car...i think the hatchback is offset a little since the you can tell by looking at the little lip-style spoiler on it and how offset it looks with the rest of the trunk and the hatchback has rubbed some paint off were the crack is along the inside of the rear fender/trunk. Does anyone know how to adjust the hatchback AND fix the rattle problem? thanks!

Re: hatchback problems

this may sound dumb but try doing the easy stuff first to get it out of the way...take the back panel off the trunk check the latch underneath make sure its all solid..... adjust the little rubber "stoppers" making the trunk tighter when its closed...check hinges maybe sum1 could have bent them accidentally?
