i am really trying to get a 88 bird front bumper cover refinished. i have sanded all the old paint and primer off. there are a few small chips, but i think a lil more sanding and a couple of coats of primer will fix that. my question is what kind of primer will stick to plastic? and what grit sandpaper should i use between coats? i am only going to primer it, then take it to a shop. i have looked from wal-mart to advanced auto parts to o'reilly's,ever auto zone. no luck finding the right primer.
and yes...i have tried to search for a informative thread.
any help would be greatly apprecaited.

Ace hardware sells a plastic primer, i used it on my rear bumper and it worked fine.
