So far I've got the following:

  • Rear turn indicators
  • Rear brake lights
  • Rear side lights (in the wraparound triangle portion of the tail light)
  • Automatic shifter console light

Taillights+turn indicators:

What's next on the agenda?
  • Front turn indicators
  • Backup lights
  • License plate lights
  • Rearview mirror map lights
  • Instrument cluster (white)

The sites where I got the bulbs are:

http://superbrightleds.com

LEDs are defiantely the way to go.

Okay, I have an 89 firebird and I have the gts blackouts on the rear. I am wanting some brighter bulbs to be seen through the blackouts since just regular bulbs are quite dim thought the blackouts. Do you think that the led's would be a good choice to go with to replace for a brighter bulb? Just kind of looking for ideas.

Re: My LED conversion has started.

Did you have to add any load resisters ? To me that just seems like a waste, since part of the reason to use LED's is their low energy usage, and the load resisters nullify that.

Would also be good to replace the under-hood light. Since the temp changes make that an incadescent killer.
