Has anyone ever tried turning the black front bumper inserts into functioning air intakes? I'm imagining some sort of molded piece that could funnel air to the radiator or back more for say a turbo application...

I figure it would work best with the pre-'86 nose piece as the black insert doesn't wrap around the side
