Going for older look

Searched and really didn't find anything. Anyways in the future I am going to get the car painted and some dents popped out. Looking at the older 3rd gens without gfx and liked it. I want to do this to my 89. All I have to do is pull the side gfx off but do I need a different front and rear bumper? I'm not sure about any differences if they just bolt up or not. I need a new front bumper anyways.

Re: Going for older look

you need to take the side parts off & weld the holes shut, you will probably need to get new bumpers.

Re: Going for older look

This is the project car. It was a V6 car w/o the spoiler, g-f/x, or anything. The front and rear bumpers are from a 83 model that had g-f/x and a spoiler. You can see that the front bumper worked out ok, but the rear one has a small piece molded into it that doesn't quite line up with the body lines at the back. I'm not that worried about it, it helps with the "piece of ****" look I'm going for.
