stupid Harwood hood install question
Its a bolt on hood with latch provision..
It wouldnt latch.I put washers on the stock bar bolts as far as it can go and raise up the latch at maximum height but it still wouldnt latch. There is still a 2mm lip on the hood but I think it still needs at least an inch for it to latch.Do I have to change to longer bolts to move the latch bar further down?..

Did you trim the edge that's around the whole hood to match your stock one? That big fat edge is there for shipping only. When I put my Harwood on, it latched down just like stock, after trimming the edge.

Re: stupid Harwood hood install question
yes I did..I trimmed the lip
I got it to work by putting longer bolts and washers(half an inch thick)
