What grit would I use to sand my Camaro spoiler? What is it made of?

dunno what its actually made of it looks like some kind of plastic or fiberglass but as to what grit sandpaper id say a start with like 120 then go to a finer one like 220
edit: come to think of it its probably polyurethane

Thanks. I'm not sure how far i want to take it down though. All i got are Rustoleum primer and rattlecan enamel.

id say 220 or 300 ought to be fine enough is there paint on it or are you just prepping?

400 grit wet, just take the shine off the old paint and paint over it.

No there is paint on it. I lightly sanded with a 100 grit but then stopped because I knew it was too rough.
