Do METAL T-Tops exist???
ive been interested in the idea of converting my t-top 86 Z28 into a hardtop. but i read some discussions here on the boards, and it seems the easiest way to do it is to actually cut out the hartop of a second 'maro and measure, set, weld, etc. alot of pain the arss ...then i just thought, METAL T-TOPS!!!!?? i dont even know if they exist though... has anyone ever seen or heard of them?

no, never ehard of um, but i have been toying with the idea of converting to a hard to as well, for stiffness as well as looks. a cage will do the same/better than converting to a hard top for stiffness, if thats what your looking for. metel tops sound heavy, hard to make, and useless. BUT, if you made them, thy looked good, nd were light, id buy some 4 sure!

If that was the sort of thing you wanted, I'd be making a mold of your glass t-tops and then making nice light fibreglass ones.
