Door Repair Help
Hey, this is my first post here on the forum. I'm a fairly new driver so please understand my lack of knowledge in this particular area.
A few months back i found this good deal on what was a 1991 3.1 L V6 Firebird. After dropping less then a grand to buy it, I have finally saved up the funds to start putting money into it.
I have run into a problem that I am not sure how to fix but am certain its really simple. Both of the of the doors seem to off of alignment (making them not shut properly & heavy) and the key will fit into the door slot yet it doesn't turn to lock/unlock it as it has drifted to the right. What would be way of fixing this without taking it to anyone and spending ungodly amounts of money?
I am also curious to how i would go about fixing broken off and missing corner pieces on the exterior door panel.
Any help would be appreciated.

To fix door locks (which may simply be frozen) you'll have to remove the door panel, which will also allow you to remove the ground effect from the door. IIRC, there are two nuts on the outside of the door at each end and several more inside the door. While you're in the door, you might consider some of the info in the following link:
