WTF now, new hatch shock, hatch wont latch anymore.

I got my new notchback on, when putting it on I found 1 of my hatch shocks were blown. Ordered a new one. Just put the new one and and now I cann't get the hatch to catch the lock. Even loosened the lock to move around and it still won't.

Worked fine with 1 good and 1 blown, but with 2 good shock it won't close / latch.

Have adjusted it every way possiable, even locked it on and then closed the hatch and tried bolting it down that way. But nadda.

Kinda pissing me off but to be honest it fits better with out the latch.
If i could just find a way from it being opened by anyone or the hatch shock from opening it. Id go for it.

Well I stopped trying to adjust the latch and put the hook part in a vise and bent it over to the right some and now it closes smooth and nice.

Now it turns out its my hatch shocks making it fit funny. WIth them off it fits great nad look good. Put on the shock and the corners start to lift as just the latch holding it donw inthe center is not enough to keep a good hatch seal.

Hatch seal is brand new.
