another ground effects question

I searched the forum, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. My question is, are the ground effects easy to remove from a trans am nose? I don't like the black inserts on my 86, but I don't want ground effects. I like the look of the 82-84 birds, but they are getting hard to find.

Thanks for the help!

Re: another ground effects question

does anybody know this? I saw a sig of a formula with what appears to me to be a trans am nose with no gfx. Is this right?...

Re: another ground effects question

86 Ground effects on the Front Cover are not removeable to the best of my knowledge...They are part of the cover itself.
The last year for removeable effects on the Front cover and rear cover, is the 84 Aero.

Re: another ground effects question

for no ground effects and no thin black inserts, I believe your only choices are an 82-84 bumper (you won't want one from a T/A that had gfx because it'll have lots of holes in it) or a 91-92 style nose. I believe all the base models and formulas from 85-90 had the thin black inserts. Where are you located? maybe you'll get lucky and someone nearby will have what you're looking for.
