4th gen parts
Im looking to swap to 4th gen mirrors and the 4th gen wing. I was just going to buy the wing from Hawks..but I think I can make it fit. Can someone show me how or tell me how to make them both fit?
Thanks!!

I know of one member that has done both mods you just asked about.
And the mirrors have been discussed recently.

Don't know for sure but he may chime in and give you some more ideas.
If you can score a wing from a j/y and you can work it into shape to fit your third gen,do it if know how to. If you don't,find a buddy that does or just buy one.Either way you'll have to mod. the holes in the decklid.
My car has the hawks wing.View photobucket album highlighted below.
If you compare mine to Stephens you'll see that theres not much difference at all.

Alright guys....Are ya'll talking about me behind my back?
Asfor Fyrechken doing mine....He had already done his & knew what to do already, so it was a snap for him. That & he's our local Master Fabricator!
OEM ($100 at your local junkyard + drilling 4 new holes & welding the old ones, if not less) vs Hawks ($350+shipping)...You tell me...
For the OEM ones, you'll hafta extend the 2 inner rear feet, as they aren't long enough inn stock form. Lexan or plexiglass layers will take easily take care of that for you.
First, get one from a LT1 car, not from a LS1 car. In my pics, you'll see why. LS1 feet do not sit flat.

And for the mirrors...The plugs are a direct plug-in, for power mirrors, but left is right, right is left. I simply pulled the wires out of the plug & reinserted them. Coulda cut & splice them, but I wanted it done "right". Now, left is left, right is right. Up & down were good already.

Re: 4th gen parts
Save yourself a few hundred bux and get an OEM wing off a 4th gen. It was actually a pretty simple mod.
Here's the thread on mine. I've also got more pics at my cardomain. The link is in my sig.
