Did any of the camaro's come with Lexan T-tops? One of mine blew out going down the track yesterday and I'd like to just replace them with lexan/plexiglass t-tops instead of the real glass ones.

 

ye, i know that some 91-92 camaros had them. At the junk yard a while back i had found a rough pair of them... they were scratched alot but they were alot lighter. BUT i think you have to change the way that they lock down. But to answer your question... Yep.

thanks, I'll probably just try to find a replacement then if they lock different. We have a few junk yards around here that should have the driver side I can get cheap.

 

well u might be able to just take off the locking pieces and just swap them out. I dont konw 100% because mine have always had glass. Hope i helped -Matt

 

Anyone know of a good source for T Tops? I'm buying a 92 RS that has a broken T Top. It's got other issues as well, but that's why they call it a project car.
