rear hatch question

rear hatch question

How can I open the rear hatch on an 86 iroc, it is all stripped no electrical and the key spot is missing.

If the lock cylinder is missing you should be able to stick something inside the hole and turn the locking mechanism manually.That is all the cylinder does, it just requires a key so not everyone can get in.

I will have to go look, but I believe the hole is straight through lol, the mech is gone. (car is at my shop)

Might have to crawl in from the front side and see if you can open it from inside
