how the hell do i open the back hatch on a 1984 camaro, is there a switch/button or something? there is one on my consol between the power window buttons, but it doesn't do anything, help anyone?

 

There should also be a key hole behind the liscense plate.

 

Okay, thats a problem, what if you dont have the original set of keys anymore? lol, so you have to take the license plate off to open it??

Pop out the hatch compartment light if you have one (don't remember whether the parts i have in the top of my garage have it or not), stick a screwdriver through the hole, and engage the emergency open slot. Turn the screwdriver, and the hatch should pop. And yes, that switch between your power window switches is for the hatch release... (had one on my 85 console but traded it in because my Bird has the one in the dash)
