Glass TTops will not seal all the way

Glass TTops will not seal all the way

I am trying to put glass ttops on my car which has a different material of ttops and when I lock it in, it doesn't seal right

did you have lexan t-tops before? i have 3 sets one of them one being lexan and the pins on them where lager then that of the glass ones.... also theres a older hook style check your pins

I guess they are the lexan ones.. They feel like plastic and the other ones are glass. Could I change the pins or do anything with that?

when i replaced my t-top on my 86 i had to adjust the holes it locks into. if you take the two screws out holding the trim on where it locks in you can loosen the ports and move them down to where it seals the t-top in better.

like B&WIROC said try that, but check to see if the pins on both sets are the same size if not then you'll just need to replace the 4 peaces that they lock into on the passenger side and drivers side

They are different sizes but the holes they go into on the car are the same. The only thing I noticed on the one car is that they are tilted and mine are straight.

First picture, the top one is lexan I believe and the bottom is the glass one. Second picture that is from the lexan one I think

If your issue is pin size, that will have to be fixed. If they lock in but don't seal, you can adjust the point at which they attach to the car to move them about a bit.

I just went outside for awhile and got to the point where they lock in it feels like but towards the back of the car there is a giant gap
