Basically what the title says. I've looked around but havent found what i needed. Mines an 82 z28 camaro and i need to replace my stock hood. will the base hood fit the same way the stock z28 fits?
Im assuming the hood from all 3rd gens is interchangeable am i wrong on that?

 

All the hoods are interchangable, however the fiberglass one you have with the air scoops is not made anymore. if you want one like that you'll have to find one from a JY or pay big money for one from us who still has one.

Exactly what I has hoping to hear. My local junkyard has like 6 or 7 3rd gens sitting there so Im gonna pull one of the hoods so I have one on for now I'll end up looking for the fiberglass one but for now I just want something covering it besides the busted one I have now. The awesome thing is its like $40 for a hood there and they're doing some 25% off special through december so I'll be spending some time there lol
