really need to see pics, or get more info to answer that for you. are you talking about a whole quarter or a patch pannel itself. patch panels are sheet etal cut to fit. are you doing the radius of the wheel wells, there are a lot of variables involved.

I am considering starting to begin the body work for my restoration soon and was looking for the same thing. I found this from Year One, I would assume it would be a good part as they are a reputable company.

I know Hawk's Third Gen also lists some sheet metal still produced like floor pans and rockers, but the GM parts are getting VERY expensive. I saw a GM fender is over $400, while a reproduction (albeit thinner and cheaper material) is $70! Thoughts?

year one has some good stuff, it all depends on what has to be done and what you want to do. if you have rust then cut it out. you have a big difference in cost when you replace over repairing. if you have the capabilities to cut the rust out and add a patch in its place, you will deffinately save your self some money. fenders and doors are fairly easy just to replace. however rear quarters, and floor pans are a different beast all together. it is alot of work, and time to replace the whole thing, especially if it is your first attempt at something like this. for floors and quarters i would recomend just placing a patch pannel in its place, if you can. sometimes rust damage is so bad you have to replace the whole thing. so like i said if you can get around having to replace the whole thing then i would. patch pannels are fairly straight foward to do. I am no body man by any means, im just a college kid who with a little help learned alot. if i can top and paint a car, you guys can get it done.
But like i said, first thing is to decide. can it be salvaged, or does it have to be replaced.
