here is a picture of the underside of my front ground effects. what are all these mounting holes for?



is there a piece missing?

 

There should be a piece that goes from under the bumper to the top of the radiator. It is black plastic and directs air to the radiator. It's hard to see from the top but completes the sides and boxes in that area. At least on all my firebirds and parts cars that I have had. V8,s 87 86 89 92. It is angled at about a 45 degree up under the core support. HTH

 

There should be a plastic shield there. Looks like it got taken off for your neons that was put on.

thanks for the help! actually installing the neons is when i noticed it lol. so is the light in the way now?? hahaha....

looking at that diagram im not sure i recognize the upper baffle either. would you be able to see it in my picture?

would putting this piece back on perk up the front spoiler any?

 

I dunno, I've never not had it, but it's designed to help direct air flow to the radiator, I wouldn't want, not to have it.
