This is something I've always wondered- would it be possible to fit third gen Firebird fenders, hood, and front clip to a third gen Camaro? Or any other combinations of the two cars?

Has it been done before? Any pics?

 

yes a few times, do a search on a transmaro-trans-maro

the frame is the same but... everything must be replaced

lets say u have a camaro and you want a firebird/trans am front end

you need trans am fenders, hood, bumper, headlight assembly and possibly if its a v6 camaro you need a firebird hood latch panel and then need a firebird v6 air filter assembly

if its a v8 i think your ok with the camaro hood latch panel but i never done it so not 100% on that

lots of work but do whatever you want with your car.

from the body shop i heard you can u just need the hood and the fenders and bumber im tring it in a few months i got a 1989 firebird and a 1982 camaro ill post pics when its done
