I just bought an 85 trans am. I believe the Previous Owner replaced the hood with an earlier style. The hood has the blister like you see on MattW's white firebird under the 1984 firebird pics on this forum. The problem I am having is water is getting into the engine bay through the hole at the rear of the blister. It looks like something is supposed to be there. Anyone know how to keep the water out, and still keep the functionality of the hood? The PO deleted a lot of stuff from the engine and carb, and everything he did was kind of a hack job.
