I've been using the "what are the odds they'd pull me over for this" strategy with my 89 Formula for awhile now and i decided that before my luck runs out i'd conform to the rules. So i'm looking for advice for the best bracket for the triangular nose of the 3rd gen Firebird. Thanks for any advice you may be able to offer.

No bracket. Screw it directly to the nose and bend the plate slightly in the center. This works best if you have license plate numbers that are printed on and not embossed/pressed out. Or do what was mentioned above.

 

I'm going to keep an eye out for a newer style car with a plastic holder that might fit or be easy to modify. A nice black plastic molded holder would look a lot better than the brackets and plate that are supplied from the factory.

i put mine in the windshield but im sure m luck will run out.
