Re: HAWKS 5'' SPOILER QUESTION
yes its a direct bolt on for 1982-1986 and then 1991-1992 camaros. This is because of the third brake light in the rear spoiler on the 1987-1990 camaros. I had one and it did need some love but it was still awesome looking -Matt

Re: HAWKS 5'' SPOILER QUESTION
as others mentioned, it will bolt right up assuming you had the 3 piece spoiler to being with. The pieces themselves will need some care however to fit and appear 'correct' as they come from a mold and will have some natural deformities...I'm surprised that the price hasn't come down for these yet...makes the purchase all the more worthwhile I guess..

Re: HAWKS 5'' SPOILER QUESTION
Yep, direct bolt on. I had to do some cutting on the two side pieces. They came down past the bottom of the side marker/taillight where the originial stops. The gap between the sides and middle piece where dif. on the two sides but you can fix. I im impressed with mine, it looks good once on.

Re: HAWKS 5'' SPOILER QUESTION
Here's a pic of mine, it fits pretty good. I just have'nt had time to adjust it to where the the middle piece lines up with the two side pieces, i think i just need to adjust my hatch but i'm not sure. They actually look really good, the only complaint I have is the price. I think I speak for everyone who has bought one lol.

See, mine actually fits like yours. The gap on the left s bigger, I want to sand down the other side to match, either that or add some in.

FueledSoul,
From what i remember they are completely one off molded. They dont use old spoilers and graft on to them. However they use all the factory mounting holes.

Re: HAWKS 5'' SPOILER QUESTION
They look kinda cheap in the pics, like its 2 flat pieces stuck together. Do they have any curve to them like the 2nd gens or are they really the way they appear in the pics

Re: HAWKS 5'' SPOILER QUESTION
Too tall for my taste I guess, or maybe a little less angle. I bet it looks better in person. Its still cool and brings back the style of the older Camaros.

Yeah they are pretty cool. But I dunno if you could get in trouble for impersonating police or something...

Re: HAWKS 5'' SPOILER QUESTION
Well i was allowed to have them. Red, white and amber. Police here use red/blue or blue. You could have a black and white crown victoria thats black and white and have a red/blue light bar. With a star on the door (nothing that says police) and not get in trouble for it. As long as you dont use the lights on the street. Just at car shows or somthing your fine. Other than for the fire dept i dont really see a use in having them other than like hidden strobe lights in ur turn signals or tail lights for car shows.

Re: HAWKS 5'' SPOILER QUESTION
I have only seen one of these in person and can honestly say that a picture does them no justice. I have heard a lot of talk that the quality is terrible and it will take some body work to make the pieces line up right, though. That said, look at our factory spoilers: I have two thirdgen camaros and neither one of them lines up perfectly... I still want one but the price is stopping me right now.
