I need to buy a new aftermarket aero spoiler is Hawk's the best place to get one? I will also be pulling the hatch of to repaint the glass molding,does the aftermarket spoiler use the existing clips on the molding to attach or should I remove them.

I also remember a place closer to NH. I think the name is northcountry fiberglass?
Formerly known as G&T fiberglass.
I don't remember their location but would save you some coin on shipping.

And yes,as far as I know all the aftermarket spoilers don't require the factory clips on the edge molding.
I know mine didn't anyway.

 

And G&T/North Country has nothing but a bad reputation, here on TGO. Look through the Vendor Review Forum, for a LONG thread(s) of complaints.

I'd stay away from them.

 

I haven't looked recently Stephen,I thought things had changed(gotten better)after the new owners? Or did that really turn out to be a hoax? I remember reading something along those lines.

 

Dunno what you mean by "hoax". Same Owner name, same address, different company name.

I had a design deal with them & did some work for them on a new Firebird hood. Then they kept telling me different stories of the mold design process, then just stopped responding at all.

That was 2 years ago (about) and the hood still hasn't been made, nor would they respond anymore.

The only way I would trust them now, is if they sent the hood first, THEN I paid for it.
