Questions regarding repainting my Z28
My 91 Z28 Vert needs a repaint. It is painted in its original metallic blue, documented by its RPO codes. Here are my questions.
1. Does repainting the car a different color decrease the value?
2. Is it significantly more expensive to paint a car a different color (red or black)?
3. Anybody know what a good pain job from a good body shop is running today?
Thanks!

Re: Questions regarding repainting my Z28
All depends on what you're looking to do.
Is your car rare or desirable? maybe
Your car needs paint anyway so,if you want to do a color change then, why not.
Since a color change done correctly is probably also going to req. new w/s on the car,
you probably looking at a few bills to get it back to correct showroom cond.
If you have nice w/s already on the car and just the visible paint is the eyesore,I would say stick with the blue original color and leave it at that.
