Power Window Harness - Can't Get it out the door
Hey there fellow Third Gen'ers,
I am in the middle of taking my door off my 87 Firebird.
I have the door panel off and all the wires disconnected from the power window motor, switch and power locks. OnlI was going to pull the harness out of the door but the harness seems to be secured in the door somehow (on the door near to the window motor). I tried getting my hand around where it seemed to be tethered, but it wont budge. I tried looking in to the door but you cant see it. Anyone know how I get this out without wrecking the harness ???

TRY LOOKING RIGHT INSIDE THE KICKPANEL STEEL WALL AND IT SHOULD UNPLUG FROM THERE ! WHEN I TOOK MY IROC-Z DOOR OFF TO PUT ON MY Z-28 I LEARNED THE HARD WAY I CUT THEM AND WHEN I WAS REMOVING THE REST OF THE DASH HARNESS I SEEN WHERE THEY PLUG IN THE REST OF THE HARNESS! ITS RIGHT BEHIND WHERE THE HOOD LATCH PULL IS ! HOPE IT HELPS !

Thanks. I will take a better look inside the car to unplug. There is some stupid alarm system with a mind of it's own mounted down there, so all the connectors are probably behind it. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction (before I get the cutters out - hehe!)
