stainless mesh into bumper cover

stainless mesh into bumper cover

has anyone tried to install stainless steel expanded metal (mesh) into the 87 firebird front bumper cover where the black insert is?

I have not but I always wondered what a billet grill like on a truck would look- prob stupid? I don't know?

goes a long way.....There are very new NEW ideas these days, just a lot of older ideas.

HAHA! Thats my car when I first got it!
Yeah,thats one of the first things I took off.
It was done by the previous owner and I still have it actually.
If anyone here likes it they can have it!
Check out my gta p/b album for more pics of it.

Heck,I paid $50 for that car and had the alum. d/s and b/w disc brake rear so,,,,not a bad deal IMO!

I kinda like the one on the right. Just never have been brave enough to cut my car up. Not like it is a simple thing to undo.

well man,like I said,if you like it you can have it for free.You would have pay the shipping cost though so,probably wouldn't be worth it.

Yeah...Shipping for the size might not be real cheap. Not real heavy, but large.

dont like it. does not look good. looks like you had some old metal left over from another project and wanted to use it up and did not care how it looked.

they are aluminum, theres actually a bit of fab work in those, especially the brake duct bezel. But like you said, to each his own.

no, i was tryn 2 get away from the cheap an gaudy look of the black plastic insert on the firebird nose cone (rear bumper 2) an replacn it w/ s.s. mesh like on a custom tuner front end.

refering to s.s. mesh,thanx.i'v ownd 66 grande parissiene,68 firebird,71 firebird,73 camaro,2-75 cameros an now my 87 firebird (gta sus.) i only like em old.
