Accident Advice

So while leaving for lunch today I got rear-ended at a red light. I felt the impact and then heard the crunch and immediately thought- "****, my bumper is gone...". We pull over and look it over and the damage to my car doesn't seem to terrible. The bottom bolt holes for the bumper cover got pushed out and it feels a little bit looser. The muffler side tail pipe got bent down though and the whole thing feels a little shaky.
So I'm looking for some advice on what to check out and inspect for damage and remind a body shop to look over. I'd have been more pissed off at the time but the car that hit me was also a Firebird...so I felt badly for them. Also, the entire thing happened in front a 2 police officers watching. Convenient, huh?

Re: Accident Advice

Pic?

Sounds like it was mainly the lights themselves, mre than the bumper, right?

But there is a honeycomb impact (5mph) absorber, between the metal mount & the bumper cover itself that could be squished. Not very repairable, AFAIK. I took my front one completely out, when part of it got squished.

If your body guy has been around a while, he probably knows what to look for.
