Lets Talk Fender Flares.....

A little while back I picked up an 85 camaro coupe for a paltry $900. Nothing special, just a pretty clean ride with a V8 that runs and drives. You can see it here if you like, but it's nothing special......yet! http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...l/IMG_0422.jpg

So I'm thinking about which way to go with this thing to set it apart from the crowd a little, and my mind keeps wandering back to those canyon racer type cars from the 70's and 80's. You know the ones.......low and wide, clean and simple corner carvers. (Something along these lines, to give you the flavor: http://www.genefeltonrestorations.co...daytona_24.jpg )Seems pretty straight forward, except I can't find any fender flares. I'll make them if I have to, but it's a lot easier to pull them off a shelf, ya know?

So, how 'bout it?

Anyone out there know of anything like that?

First off, nice looking sport coupe. IBF ZOMGPUTGFXONIT!!!1! Leave the GFX off. So hard to find nice SC's anymore. Second, if I recall there were some flair kits available at one time. One or two members have them on their cars. Sorry, I don't know their names. Did you do a search yet? Anyway, sweet looking little SC!

Thanks, and yes, I've looked around some, but I seem to be striking out so I figured someone here might be able to point me in the right direction.

I think it was them that was mentioned in this thread: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/afte...x-spoiler.html I just realized though, that post is several years old, so maybe things have changed since then. You don't stay in business long is you mees up your customers, and they've been around a while now.
