Noob question
Re: Noob question
The bumper is held on by quite a few bolts. First of all, you will have a couple directly under the hood latch. Then, you have the brackets that attach the headlight bar to the core support. These are just to the inside of headlights. (You'll have to remove the TPI air box or plastic filler panel to see them.) The bumper is attached to the inner bumper with a bunch of clips on the bottom side that you'll have to remove as well. After you get those you need to the the ones that attach the bumper to the fender. The easiest way to get at those is to remove the plastic inner fenders and use a long extension to reach them. There will be five on each side. (The driver's side hardware will be easier to get at if you remove the horns.) You'll also have to remove the lower spoiler from the fenders and the front bumper cover and lower spoiler will come off in one piece. You also might have the radiator ducting attached to the bottom of the lower spoiler at the very front of the car. If you do, you'll have to remove those as well. Sounds like fun...huh?
Also, make sure you remember to unplug the headlights and park lights before you take the bumper assembly off.

Re: Noob question
Theres also a bracket the comes off the front of the fender to the cradle....its a bugger. Well one of many buggers
Great advice has been given and I'll just add that you should start from the outside and work your way in as a "tip". save the bumper bolts till last and look for the easiest way to take off the brackets....usually one side is easier than the other.
You will look like this a couple of times
so make sure you have time, gloves and long sleeves.
Have fun.
