Need alignment help with new hood!!

I just put on a new RA II hood and I need help to align the fenders and the hood. Can someone post a link or please explain in detail how to adjust the fenders? Right now on each side of the hood I have a little over 3/8 gap on each side and I want to get it much closer. Any help would be greatly appreciated and can post picks later.

The gap is on both sides and an even 3/8 the entire length of the hood?

Hopefully the hood isn't too small, Measure your old hood and compare. How much gap did you have with the old hood, these cars seams are not very tight in general.

Are your fenders lined up at the door and the front bumper cover? If so if you move them in for the hood you will have a step in at the door gap. The front bumper cover is a little flexiable but geting 3/8 out of it on both sides isn't going to happen.

It would be easy to add to the fiberglass hood, but I'm sure after paying what a fg hood costs you don't want to do that.

Loosening the bolts along the top of the fender, and the hood hinge bolts at the top of the fender, would allow you to move it some. But aviator is right about fenders needing to line up at the doors. If you set the fender in farther than the door they may hit when you open the door.
Pics would help.

It doesn't really sound like you have too much gap overall. Are your hood to fender gaps even front to rear and just a little off side to side? If thats the case moving the hood latch over a little could help even things out. You may also need to move the hinges on the body slightly.
