They are plastic. Come to think of it i rattle canned my seat belt guides since they where different colors from the junkyards. Turned out great!
I'm just worried about any fading issues.
BTW, are those 18"s in your sig? I'm gonna order some 17s here quick, just want to get a 255 on the rear instead of the 245.

take them off and take them to a body shop there paint is alot better than a spray can. most likely wont cost that much

Nope they're plastic, at least mine are and everyone's on ebay. i'm pretty sure they never made alumminum ones.

Go to a auto body supply store and look or ask for the SEM paint.SEM has paint that will bite into the plastic. I use the flat black all the time it works awesome.

What about the fusion paint that bonds to plastic that rustolem makes. Not sure how well it holds to plastic in the long run though. I painted the plastic around the headlight pop ups on my firebird black after it got overspray on them from a paint job and they are sill holding up good. But they are not in the direct sun light every day either.
Althoug I aggree a profesional job with a good plastic primer/bonding agent. Base and clear will look amazing if you want shinny. Flat I would probably do at home since fade will not be as big an issue.

I agree, i would spend the extra money to take the louvers to a shop. rattle can spray would fade over time, especially since its going to be in direct sunlight.

Yep i asked my body guy and he said sure no problem. They got some etching paint that will hold up and not fade, it's what they use for the door handles etc.
