Mirrors, window triangles, window lift spring help

Hi guys, I'm replacing the window triangles on my 1982 Z28. But i have the type found on later models. The window guide piece that sits inside the door is a bit shorter. Anyone have any tips on how to install these?

I also got a set of manual side view mirrors. Anyone know how to take everything out (Glass, wires etc) so I can have them painted?

And also, my window spring on my passenger side keeps falling off into the door. I try to put it back just like on the driver side but it keeps falling... Do the springs have to do a full rotation before you "hook" them? Thanks for your help!
