I now its probably a silly question to ask but I would like to know if all the 84's Trans Am came with the turbo hood with working hood louver?
what is the rpo code for this hood?

Reason why I have 84 TA that come with out a hood and looking for right hood for it... My ground effect color and interior color is grey ? I only seen on internet the black and gold TA with turbo hood?

Any help would be greatly apreciated...

All 84 T/As had the turbo/cowl induction/power bulge hood. I used to think that only the H.O. (L69) cars had the functional cowl induction setup, but recently I learned that LG4 cars could have it also. You should check out www.earlythirdgen.com too if you don't get the answer you need here. There are lots of guys that are very knowledgable there about specifically 82-84 firebirds. There is probably a specific RPO code associated with the functional cowl induction setup that would be on your Service Parts ID Tag located on the inside of your center console lid and those guys would know it.

Yes, your car would have come with the factory cowl induction hood. If you need it we have the correct hood as well as the cowl induction system available on our website right now.
