Painting your rear window louvers?

I'm getting some Louvers, original GM OEM style, and I was thinking about painting them white to match my white car. Only I have never seen white louvers before. Does anyone have a picture? or a recommendation?

oooh, that does look nice. i would go with plain white, no stripes, after seeing that pic though. That looks sweet and I think I'll go for it.

Re: Painting your rear window louvers?

BLACK is a better color choice for louvers. Painting them body color makes it look cheap.

I agree that black would offset the original color of the car better.
