I've seen the Corvette taillight mod done on Camaro's but is it available or has it been done on a Firebird?

 

I've never seen any kits for Firebirds.

I don't know... I myself am not a big fan of those taillights. It would not be hard to do though, just paint everything but 2 big circles on your taillights...

Makes the bumper look rather shelf-like; AND theres no reverse lights. But then again, few have the proper black and gold trans ams like HCR and myself, so modifications like that are probably necessary

If I was going to attempt this, Id recommend?? the mid 80s vette tail as it fits the style of our cars 'better' with the bigger lights. (Art is subjective though so proceed at your own risk)

When all else fails, paint it black n gold

You could make C5's still have reverse lights. Get the export/euro C5 tails.


I would say learn how to fiberglass because there are no kits available for firebirds

i hate to be "that guy" but people, let the corvettes be corvettes. if you want corvette tails that look good, buy a vette. if they looked good on firebirds gm would've did it. the only things from vettes that should be swapped on to third gens are the the brakes, engines and rims.

 

nah even if they looked good i dont think GM would steal an iconic design feature from their flagship car to use on the f-body also.
