pull down motor just needs a wiggle
So, when I close the hatch it pulls it down until right before the bottom. That's when it gets stuck and I hear the motor working extra hard. When I push on the striker switch when the hatch is open, it starts to go down until the same spot. Once it gets jammed up I wiggle the motor around and it will eventually pull all the way down. Anyone have any ideas on what could fix this, I'm stumped.

Theres really good info on this....search pull down motor...or hatch wont close and you should get tons of info. Are the sliders in decent conditions? They are white plastic in the tracks where it slides on the sides.
