Re: Functional Camaro SS hood
that is ASCD hood, its the same one i have. it comes pre-drilled w holes. iar comes in, but its not a "ram air' by any means.
i have a carb setup, so its functional. you can probably rig something up to where al the air comes in frm there.....

Re: Functional Camaro SS hood
There are a lot of hoods like that out there. I got mine off of ebay. Shipping was 200. But I only paid 275 for the hood so it wasnt too bad.
Here is one that is still up for bidding. But make sure to inspect it when you get the hood. Check where the screws go into the hood. Mine were bent and my stock ones wouldnt fit but they said that I could use the ones that were in there. In my case the bolt stripped it out on two different holes. I ended up taking it to a local fiberglass place and he is fixin it for free. But the hood is functional. You can see it on my profile, I have other pics of it in my album too. I love the hood it looks great. Im trying to find a way to make ram air out of it since I switched to carberated. I believe it has a 2 1/2" cowl that is closed in the back. It gave me the perfect amount of room for my carb swap.
