Need help with front bumper

the previous owner of my car decided to screw a license plate directly to the front bumper of my car. There are holes where the screws were and it also looks as if the license plate deformed the plastic around screws. Should I take it to a body shop and have it repaired or try and do it myself and if so, how? Thanks in advance.

Re: Need help with front bumper

Pics would help. Where on the front bumper? On the actual nose or in between the turn signals?

Re: Need help with front bumper

Could you use a folding licence plate holder to cover the screw holes and mount the plate?
