Headlight motor interchangeable?

Wondering if 92 headlight motors are interchangeable with 82-pre92 headlight assemblies. Putting a 86 nose on my 92 and need to put in 82-90 headlight assemblies. I don't want to put in the older headlight motors, because that would mean I would have to swap over the headlight harness.

Re: Headlight motor interchangeable?

87-92 Firebirds used a two wire headlight motor while the earlier cars used a three wire motor. However, you can bolt your '92 motors onto the earlier assemblies with no problems so that would be the easiest way to go.
