t-top pinchweld/ weatherstripping area...

Car: have a 92 camaro rs...in pieces
Engine: none now...probably 383 stroker
Transmission: none yet
Axle/Gears: none
t-top pinchweld/ weatherstripping area...

Hey guys... need some help/input..... I was wondering what i should do about this t-top area.... The lip on the passenger side is fine... But the driver side... Is kinda jacked up.... What should i do???? How should i fix this???? In the pic you can see that the lip closer to the middle is almost non-existent.... help!!!

I would personally cut some small strips of metal weld it then grind.You may just be able to treat it with some por15 or rust bullet to prevent rust from coming back.Then i would dry fit a good piece of the old seal to see if it will stay in postion good enough.just use a little extra gasket adhesive in that area.I assume you know the lip just holds the gasket in place..Good Luck let us know how it works out.
