Helpppp!!! 1990 RS Fender removal

Greetings all. I just started working on a 1990 Camaro RS with my daughter. We're trying to remove the fenders and can't quite get them off. On the passenger side we have everything loose except where the fender wraps under just behind the front wheel. It looks like there's a bolt holding it on but I can't see where someone could get to the head of this bolt to take it off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is pretty much the case on every third gen. There is in fact a bolt there. Someone probably placed a jack there and bent the flange. You'll need to unbend it. It should be obvious which way to bend it. Use a pry-bar, locking pliers, and be careful not to dent anything.
Good luck
Alex

Thanks a million novafirebird guy. That did the trick. I can't believe people do that. It was smashed flat.

P.S.: So much for thinking removing the fender would make it easier to get to the spark plugs.

Do a search on spark plugs on the general tech board and you'll find some good info on getting at those dam plugs. Hope the rest of your bodywork goes well.
