what is the differance in these bushings?

I have a new set a pin and 2 bushings but after removing the old one I noticed a differance in the bushings. The old ones have ridges and the new ones are smooth. Is this wrong or does it matter?

What bushings are you talking about? The sway bar links or sway bar mounts or what? New ones typically look nice and smooth and the old ones get all cracked and nasty looking.

it dont matter they can be smooth or rigid just as long as there in there snug and are the right fit. ( you are talking abouth the door pin and bushings i assume?)

Re: what is the differance in these bushings?

If I remember correctly the ones on the left are oversize bushings and the ones on the right are standard. If your hinges are really worn than you might need to get some oversize bushings. I bought my pins on ebay and they came with both sets of bushings. Mine needed the oversize. Just depends on how worn yours are.

Re: what is the differance in these bushings?

Well the ones on the left fit in very nice and snug while the ones on the right are loose. Both set fit good on the new pin but the old bushings(left) are very snug on the hing
