1992 z28 Xtreme make over

Well, I know i wont come close to Neil's build but i am going to try!

I have talked about it for a while and now its finally a reality. My 1992 z28, first car I ever bought back in high school is now getting a make over. It is at the body shop now.

Plan:

D1SC Procharged 383 LT1
T-56
Roll Cage
ALL new Spohn/UMI Suspension

Here are pics from the body shop as of today. More will follow as the build goes. First two pictures show where the rockers were rusted out right by the door so we had plates fully welded in and then second pic is finished body work. Same thing was done on both sides.

Few more pics... You'll notice I am running center mount exhaust similar to the 4th Gen SS camaro's. I had the truck cut out - no need for it - for room to mount the exhaust tips and run the pipes.

Looking good! Can't wait to see the finished product, especially the exhaust.

I don't see what it has to do with an S10....
but looks like it should be pretty sweet. Of course, post pics of the final work.

Good start to your build. Can't wait to see the finished product! I ran center exhaust on my last 3rd gen, loved it!
