3 different layers of paint? Reading the rings....
I've always figured the crap paint on my car was the result of the crap van nuys factory paint. I sanded a small spot and it seems otherwise. This looks to me like factory paint, plus 2 repaints. Opinions?
From the center outwards: Factory Primer, Factory Base, Factory Clear, Base, Clear, Base, Clear.

This is the problem. Do you think I will have to sand the whole car down to factory primer to get a good prep layer for my next paint job, which I want to be quality?

looks like sumone blended that quarter and the blend failed after time, you need to get as many layers off as you can, 3 layers is the top for a paint job you put the 4th one on and it wont last worth of ****.

that center portion almost looks like glazing putty. maybe its just my screen but it looks green to me.
