Trans Am hood
Anybody every cut out the portion of the hood under the vents on a TA hood? I'm not looking for ram air or anything but I think if that vent was functional more air would flow into the engine bay, which can't be a bad thing.

I've seen it done many times here on TGO, just don't know how they turned outm but don't recall anything negative being said about them.

Almost seems like the smart thing to do... Would rain/possible rust problems be a factor in your area/place of storage. (Garage vs. my backyard etc.)

Nope, the car is always in the garage and never driven in rain. I had a Formula back in day and I removed the back part of that hood. I drove that car all year round too.
