Hey everyone,

I am new here, and need some help. I found a Ram Air hood for my car that a guy in town was selling. He never installed it, so it is basically a new hood. I got the hood mounted on my hinges, but found that they needed to be slid all the way back so the hood didn't stick out over the front bumper. Also, the hood would be better positioned if I could slide the hinges to the drivers side, but the holes don't really allow for that.

But, my main concerns are:

1. The air holes are not cut out inside the hood, so wondered what you all would recommend.
2. The next problem is that the grilles are already mounted, and are pretty much inside the hood. They aren't just screwed into a pair of tabs, so if or when I need to remove them to smooth the edges around the scoops, how would I get the grilles back on?
3. My final concern is that the hood latch doesn't line up now, as I had to push the hinges back, and there isn't a place to mount the pop spring as the setup isn't the same as the stock hood.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am including some pictures for reference.

That is not the hood I have it is diff. Mine is a Ram Air II hood and it was fully open and came with screen's that mounted to the front. I am also running the air box for the hood. And also my hood fits AWESOME with no issues. I wonder what you will need to do to make it work right. Here is mine on the car
