Well i have a GTA and there are no ducts. I know the TA did have them but as far as i know there are non-functional. Plus where they were located i don't think would serve any real purpose mechanically

Of course, the passenger one keeps your radios' antenna ventilated.

But seriously, no they dont serve any real purpose, and trans am fenders wont work on a camaro, unless you swap the whole front end.

Vents on the hoods & the fenders are all non-functional.

The vents could be swapped over to a Camaro, with some cutting & welding, but thats about it.

Oh they are functional (at least on the early ones) The hood scoops were functional with some motors and the fender vents extracted heat from the engine bay. Along with pressure changes. They are functional alright. I can hear the scoop working when you nail the throttle on mine.

Re: Are the Ducts on T/A fenders functional?

The passenger side is marginally functional thanks to the computer harness routing hole in the unibody on that side. The driver's side is non-functional.

They were function on '70-81 Trans Ams.
